A run-feast and we've had exactly 450 being scored. Batters enjoyed the conditions and the bowlers suffered. Today is a Sunday double-header and the action shifts to Antigua for the night match. The Falcons are up against the defending champions, the Kings from St. Lucia in a few hours from now and we'll be back for coverage of every ball. For now, cheers and bye..
Nic Pooran - The most important thing was to win. It's very challenging to win here, there was a lot of overnight rain, we lost the toss, had to bat and the conditions were challenging. The openers set-up the game, they played well and got us into a good position. We've a lot of experienced players, no need to tell them how to play, they know the conditions well, that's a big tick for the team. He (Usman Tariq) played for my team in the AD T10, we lost Waqar (Salamkheil), he bowls nicely and is tricky to face, we've two world-class spinners in Akeal and Narine, so we've options and it's great to have him as well now. We take things for granted, just need to embrace things, the journey has just begun, we've Russell coming back as well. Have fun and enjoy the game (on his advice to the team).
Jason Holder - It was a tough one, the wicket played very well today, credit to Munro for his innings. But we could have done well with the margins, cut a few boundaries off, the conditions were in favour of the batters and credit to them. Lots of positives (for the team), the batters are getting into their stride, Rilee getting runs and the openers continuing their good form. We can look to build on these things and a few players need to be added to the team. Keep playing with intent, stay positive, this is a hard ground to play - a better effort with the ball will keep us in good stead.
Colin Munro | Player of the Match: I focused on a bit of fitness, it was tough to get outdoors during the winter. Was working on hitting the ball cleanly with nice contacts and good positions. (On his hundred) It is a winning one, that’s why I’ll remember it more. Nice to contribute for the team. Didn’t look to premeditate too much today. There is a lot of brotherhood here, the Trinidad boys have always welcomed me. A few new faces now but doesn’t feel like too much has changed. (On the hundred celebration) It was a little bit for the family and a little bit for the frustration for not coming back here for the last few years. I am getting a bit older but I wanted to prove that I still have a lot to offer.
14:51 Local Time, 18:51 GMT, 00:21 IST: A convincing victory for the Knight Riders. The margin must've suggested a closer game, but they were well in control for most part of the chase. A 45-ball 80-run stand for the opening wicket gave the Patriots hope, but they then came unstuck against spin. Akeal and Narine were accurate and Tariq reaped the rewards with his slow off-breaks. He left the batters clueless with his variations and the chase fell away. Jason Holder smashed a 22-ball 44, but the home team needed more from their middle-order. The Knight Riders begin their campaign with a win, but it's back-to-back losses for the Patriots at home. Presentations coming up shortly..
Munro to Drakes, SIX, Patriots finish on a high, but Knight Riders win by 12 runs, fuller length delivery outside off and Drakes carves it high over backward point - Akeal sprints to his right in the deep, but the ball drops right on the advertisement skirtings

Munro to Naseem Shah, SIX, Naseem is having some fun here, length ball on off and he threw himself into the lofted drive, gets a lot of height and plenty of elevation as the ball drops over the ropes at long-off
Munro to Naseem Shah, FOUR, low full-toss and Naseem has smashed it over the bowler's head, one bounce and over the ropes - turning out to be a comical end to the game
Munro to Naseem Shah, no ball, .. and he starts with a high beamer, over Naseem's head and is called as a no-ball, a free-hit is coming up
Colin Munro, right-arm medium, comes into the attack
Looks like the back issue has taken its toll on Hinds, he's off and the over will be completed by Munro
Terrance Hinds to Naseem Shah, 5 wides, Hinds loses his line and spills one miles down leg, no chance for Pooran and he barely moved, five bonus runs for the patriots
Terrance Hinds to Naseem Shah, SIX, a first-ball six for Naseem Shah - fuller length delivery and he managed to get under it on the slog, kept Pollard interested at long-on, but the ball sails over his head

Naseem Shah, right handed bat, comes to the crease
Amir to Holder, out Bowled!! A pin-point yorker on leg and Amir has his man - Holder was shuffling across on the flick, opened up his left leg as he went for the big shot and nut-megged himself completely, the leg-stump goes for a walk and Holder falls after a fighting innings. Holder b Amir 44(22) [4s-3 6s-3]
Amir to Holder, THATS OUT!! Bowled!!
